ROBERT L. GARDANA

Robert L. Gardana, Miami

Robert L. Gardana is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Admiralty & Maritime Law. He is admitted to  Florida United States District Courts, the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court. He is an AV peer-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. He is Chair of the ABA-TIPS Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee (2018-2019) and Past Chair of the Florida Bar Admiralty Law Committee (2017-2018). He is a Proctor in Admiralty of the Maritime Law Association of the United States. He holds a USCG Master License and is the founder of Robert L. Gardana, PA, in Miami.

ASHLEY S. GARDANA ARRARÁS

 Ashley S. Gardana Arrarás is admitted to the Florida Bar and District of Columbia Bar. She is a member of the Admiralty Law Committee of the Florida Bar and the ABA-TIP Admiralty & Maritime Law Committee. Her practice focus is in environmental law and she works as a Staff Attorney in Lakewood, Colorado.  She received her J.D. from  American University, Washington College of Law in 2012. 

STEPHANIE A. PROPSOM

 Stephanie A. Propsom is admitted to the Wisconsin Bar and is in-house counsel at  Fincantieri Marine Group, LLC.  She practices in the area of Maritime Law and focuses her time on shipbuilding contracts, labor matters, and negotiations.  Ms. Propsom is a vice-chair of the ABA-TIPS Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee and is a Proctor in Admiralty of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.  

ATTILIO M. COSTABEL

Attilio M. Costabel is a member of the Florida Bar and retired member of the Italian Bar.  He has a solo practice in Miami, FL, where he also teaches Admiralty Law, Marine Insurance, Boating and Cruising Law, International Business Transactions and Transnational Litigation at St. Thomas University School of Law.  At home also in Mexico, he is a member of the Instituto Ibero Americano de Derecho Maritimo (Mexican arm of the International Maritime Committee).  

DAVID B. SHARPE

David B. Sharpe is a Shareholder for Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin & Hubbard's New Orleans office. David focuses on marine insurance coverage; marine finance and vessel documentation; bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors’ rights; admiralty and maritime; and international and cross-border law.   David negotiates and litigates contracts for both vessel owners and charterers. He also teaches Towage & Offshore Services at Tulane Law School.

 Chase A. Jansson is an Associate for Kennedys CMK LLP in the firm’s Miami office, where she practices admiralty and maritime law. She represents international insurers and reinsurers, Lloyd’s syndicates, shipowners and charterers in relation to a variety of marine liability claims, including passenger and crew claims, property damage and personal injury liabilities, collisions, marine salvage claims and limitation actions.

Frank J. Sioli is a founding member and serves as Chief Strategic Officer with Sioli Alexander Pino. Mr. Sioli has been practicing in the Admiralty/Maritime, Insurance, and Commercial Transactions-Litigation fields for over 20 years. Mr. Sioli has also earned the distinction of being Board Certified in Admiralty & Maritime Law. Allison N. Skopec is a junior maritime associate (awaiting NY Bar admission 7/15/19) at Winston & Strawn LLP’s New York office. Prior to joining Winston, Allison received her law degree and certificate in maritime law from Tulane University School of law in New Orleans, LA. She was the winner of the Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee’s 2017 Law Student Writing Competition.
